As I journeyed out to see the latest in summer windows I was infiltrated with a trend that had not occurred to me was fast approaching…Summer Sales. From the Gap to Kate Spade the summer sale was the theme and retailers used 3D lettering, incorporated merchandise and props, or just announced the sale with marketing. One thing for sure was that the steady use of color. Bright colors, which we’ve seen all season, trickled into sale marketing messages and several retailers ditched the traditional red and white theme to announce their discounts. Now I think it’s time to go shopping!
