Retail is in Courtney’s blood. Growing up, she would go antiquing with her family, and spent each Sunday at her dad’s men’s clothing store—not a young child’s idea of a fun time. Yet it shaped her passion for the visual business and her understanding of how aesthetics play a role on the sales floor.
 
Living in Paris each summer as a teenager cemented the deal. It wasn’t just about what the store sold; it was how they displayed it, how to say more about your store than your products can alone. Creating a warm, brand–friendly environment enhanced by visual elements became her life’s work.
