| Growing up in a family of retailers, Whitney caught the creative bug early. She and her sister Courtney played store the way some kids played house—setting up shop in her bedroom and selling to a motley crew of neighborhood kids and stuffed animals. Despite poor sales, the displays were great. |

| Honing that early design sense, Whitney developed an aesthetic that led her to a career in fashion. She blends experience in production, styling and design to gain insight into what works and what doesn’t in the marketplace. She thoroughly enjoys what she does, even while schlepping something cumbersome through the streets of Manhattan. |
